I would simply expect that sort of misalignment with off center loads... It will never close as square as a centered load. I go full center, I'm also pressing on the very low end at 165.

Am I the only one pressing at low temps?? Grease Monkey and AK have come out beautifully at 165*, the AK the most flavorful of any press I have ever done. Yielding around 22% on AK and a whopping 30% on the Grease. I LOVE DP!
