What kinda torch are you using?? I never torch for more than 10-15s with the bigshot, then wait 30s.

I don't doubt you can alter the stability of the material and remove terps, but you are inevitably going to burn off some good canabiniods in the process. Don't think just by going slow and low, you are only going to isolate and remove just the flavor- more goodness will come out with it.

It does have a stir to but this is not the high plate and does not fully come apart, though you can change out the heating plate. My cap is v1 but the plate is a later version but before the high heat became available... No ridges.

I still use my early v1 cap more often than my new cap... glad I have both, but for me the old cap is just a part of me.

IMO it is nearly impossible to truly compare apples to apples when dealing with SCS. Their tooth designs and screen meshes change often, sometimes 2-3 times a year. I LOVE my SCS more than any other grinder I've ever used, but it is not the same SCS as what is available in the store today...

I went all the way with the 10t driptec with strongly pump and gauge. I am in TerpTown, getting the most flavorful and powerful results. The gauge really allows you to consistently get the results you are looking for.

I've only used a SiC with my Dnail, and really am itching to go back to quartz. Does anyone make a less expensive quartz bucket that will fit the Dnail? I was hoping to keep it cheap. How many of you all are even using the quartz bucket? It seems that nearly EVERYONE just uses SiC.

Thread moves fast... Had to go back and see your original post. I don't think this coil would be good for keif, just dump that into a standard cap. Wax oil rosin shatter would likely be more applicable. I admittedly will not be able to speak from experience until it gets here.
