Well yeah, of course. That's exactly the purpose I was referring to. That's why I said you're probably more likely to scorch the wood, because it's easier to miss the hole without the flair. I know I've done it on my StickyBrick, even WITH the flair when I wasn't paying close enough attention...

What drives me nuts on a lot of these third-party StickyBrick style vaporizers is that the heat intake doesn't have flared glass at the end. It makes me think it's a lot easier to accidentally scorch the wood. What do other users think about the non-flared glass heat-intake vs the flared ones.

Picking a favorite is hard. Of course my Dynavap vapes are up there. But I also really love my Sticky Brick as well. Sticky Brick is probably the tastier, heavier hitter. But it's not as convenient and portable as my Dynavap M is. Favorite would depend on the environment I plan to use it in.

Hmmm. I own that mod, and I am not seeing them on DDave's site anymore. I guess they're no longer available.

Yeah, if I'm using my woodscents dry, I use it with the dynavap tip & glass stem (lower right in the stand in the background of the pic below), but this has become my other most common configuration for using my Woodscents. For me it's just right: ***edit*** yeah, because it hits like this...

I had a couple Double Pecan Porters from 512 Brewing Company last night that were lovely. It's a whisky barrel aged porter, and I highly recommend it. (I tend to like barrel-aged porters and other barrel-aged stouts)
