Actually, as I've said before, I'd take Solo over Air. A personal call, as is 'what's the best vape?'. Advice from random folks not using their real names aside only you can, in the end, pick the one best for you. And there's no guarantee on that choice. Sticking with popular models...

Guilty, although it was DHGate IIRC. Not that matters, I expected it to be counterfeit of course, why would a product MADE IN CANADA show up for cheap in China? It can't possibly be top line product through legitimate channels or PIU would buy there too? Most of the details ended up in the...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

Should be just fine. I don't have that piece, but I've washed lots of different metals and o-rings (Silicone, Buna and Viton) with no troubles. I've also put it in the dishwasher several times, no problems there with seals or plastic stuff but it sure took care of that 'haze' of mineral build...

First off, howdy Tony, welcome to the Forum, sorry you're having troubles. Unfortunately I don't recall anyone posting any reset procedure you can try (like some other vapes have), perhaps someone else knows one? If not there may be one we just don't know about, perhaps the maker can tell you...

I think that makes perfect sense, there's a built in limit to production rates. The ceramic is a filter of sorts WRT heat (nasty old Thermodynamics again.....). Something like the filter in a coffee maker? That is, there's a limited amount of heat that can transfer to the load (in this case...

No, stay away. Counterfeits out there. See the counterfeits thread and elsewhere in this one. A couple of guys just lost the lottery........ Beats me, I assume it's excellent. But buy from PIU and you'll never have a chance to find out. In the unlikely event of trouble Randy at PIU is...

    Arizer Solo

Funny this should come up again. For sure it's more useful to some than others. For your consideration: How about a reed valve in the tube so you could draw from the Solo and exhale right back into the whip and into the Carbon filter part to trap the smell of your exhaust...... No smell...

    The Arizer Air

Guilty as charged. But, hey it ain't my idea.....in fact there's a thread on the topic. A super detergent, engineered to deal with the exact gunk we have using all manner of available water. And it only takes a dash. You can get it at Amazon or local home brewing places. Fun to watch...

    The Arizer Air

Ain't that the simple truth!!! So cool. And you get to save LOTS on your weed bill (say 2/3 on average?) and move up to the top shelf in source and taste inspired enjoyment. And you get to live longer to enjoy it. Hard to find much to object to really don'cha think? OF

Or tiny battery powered Heating Stations...... Don't hold your breath there of course. There are work arounds for the clicking of the sparker, but the 'roar' of the torch will be with us still. In a vehicle based session (not battery powered), where abundant power is available from the...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Fair question, so I tried to find out. Even after charging to the same level (about 85%) it depends on which you start first (the other is a few seconds behind). Retesting is tedious due to long cool downs. I'd say the MP is a bit over 45 seconds with the Mini a few seconds behind on...

You know we don't seem to be communicating well. First you asked 'have you tried a Pyrometer?' just after I said I did, then you asked 'do you think they really measure temperature changes?' right after I said I did and why??? Yes, I meant it. It's a common enough practice. Perhaps someone...

Yep. And part of the metal sticks up out of the oven where it can dump heat into the air (or your finger if you're not careful). A bit like putting a spoon in your too hot cup of tea to cool it faster...... OF

I too usually don't finish in ten minutes and will go longer. Ed's stems do hold more I think, but also being metal pull the heat from the load faster so if you don't 'bump up the heat' that too is adding to longer vaping per load? OF

Weird indeed. I don't think I'm at all alone in this. For instance: "I've been timing my 'clicks'. It will make a difference depending on the lighter used. I will keep trying and get an average for the triple and single lighter when it arrives. So far triple from cold to first click, heat in...

VC is fun for me thus far, but VM has serious advantages IMO past the first hit. You have to wait a pretty long time (like a minute) for VC to cool enough after a hit so it clicks again and you can reheat. Otherwise, no click and combustion. VC also takes a LOT more heating for a session...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Probably out of stock again. IIRC last time it happened that was why? I waited to order my second set until 'they came back'. The yield is/can be very low we've been told. Hard to hold tight specs on tiny molded glass pieces as they cool, and we had issues with them sticking in Ascents due...

Let's be honest, you get fan mail from folks after disappointing vacations asking you for tips? I believe it might have been yesterday....... Is all that lovely glass still alive/intact today? How many pieces didn't write wills overnight after they learned the score? OF
