I certainly wasn't saying you suggested copper @Brewervapesalot , sorry to have implied that. Copper is normally associated with rapid heat exchange. So it is the material of choice for cooling functions. The balance between mass and surface area for cooling purposes has been a science for...

Copper and stills have a long history. Brass fittings and all. Not in my vape! There was a time when I wouldn't care but we know more now. Vape chillers are heat-exchange-concepts, yes. Copper works great but coat it with something. Vapeman coated copper with gold. How do you feel about...

Today I suck'd a load dry in 2 go's with an IH. Nice tight pack 1st draw with lots of flavor and cloud. Reheat and got a phantom first click and the second draw was rip'n. It turned the entire load very- dark. No ash, no ember - just done with damn good consistency.

    Parents That Vape

Sorry, should have been more clear. Attitudes I couldn't care less about... I mean a similar consideration as a parent smoking up the house where children live. Children don't have a choice. I remember many a sunny days where smoke just lingered in the living room. Well, vape is similar but...

'thermal mass' for maintaining coolness and surface area for heat exchange. Ti is light weight so not much mass therefore it is easily saturated. Al cuts easily and Ti ...doesn't. My reservations with Ti is Ti-Oxide at elevated temps. Personal peeve.

Personally I don't think kids or non-participating adults should be subjected to an environment saturated with MJ vape residual.

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

I got the stainless straws in. They are seam welded tubes. Why in the hell anyone would use this for drinking is beyond me. Basically they are guaranteed germ traps. But for our purpose they are quite cheap! FWIW, the tube ID is ~ 11mm. I measure a wall thickness of 0.4mm with an OD of...

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@mr_cfromcali you can request 'machine after anodize' on the drawing. I get panels that way. I take it your case supplier is doing the machining? Domestic source? ...we should talk -

Still like lightweight. I have the "Q" which is a plain Jane M and a small quill. Both light as a feather. Not kidding.

'The Misty Log' - DIY wooden Log Vaporizer

I wonder if a single 18650 on a boost converter would work for the 20W solution. That would make for a very nice but short-lived portable. Stainless tubes... sourcing. Working on obtaining some of the larger SS straws. Stay tuned.

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

The BVC has been very successful in scoping the status of the load. "Know when to hold them, know when to fold them." right? This is the perfect weigh-point to decide back-in-the-bowl or into the ABV-Pot <<== pun intended :brow: So staring at that bicycle spoke and finding absolutely no use...

Quick question @Socks And Sandals - does the cap 'rattle'? My thinking is that there may be a piece of herb stuck in the cap and that is acting as a silencer. Just a thought on that missing 1st click. I'm also going to recommend the BVC... The Been Vaped Cup. A small container that holds...
