    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Great so far. One has a lot of hours on it, it's gone much longer than any of the 3 I killed. Seems to be fixed? Not that I'm using it all that much these days. I've been busy with other vapes and it has to share 'FM time' with the Mini which I very much like. OF

I'd be careful there, depending on how you do it I can see breaking the leads (small risk I think but it could kill the Solo) or jamming debris into cracks so hard (due to the pressure/power available) so it not onnly blocks air flow but never comes out? OF

That immersion depth is a calibration factor (the black ring). How important a factor depends on the application of course, but it's taken into account. OF

I got lost, how is it you're so sure the delivered temperature is 419F? I tried to confirm at 3990F (where I think I can judge results as similar to other vapes at that temperature) with the TC, which I think I did. Otherwise that seems correct. The reals number is in PPM so the approximate...

Have you tried removing the o-rings? Not much need for them if there's no MP cover to hold on...... I bet the tube seals against the glazed ceramic just fine, and won't fight you half as much? OF

I get frustrated and fight it, neither good solutions. That is to say I have no better ideas yet. More over, I find that the load collapses enough that simply pushing it down leaves a big gap at the top inviting migration on the next hit. I'm reluctant to start with screens/plates on top, but...

    Iolite vaporiser

I think, once again, Vitolo hit it square on the head. IO continues to run after you shut the valve because of the plumbing. There is a 'line' from the valve to the metering assembly where it's burned as needed to control the temperature. The 'gas' will normally be liquid at that point so the...

No, that's not what I posted. I said 'Matt told us all the products use Nichrome heaters' and I also said 'there are many different alloys of Nichrome'. That's important too, I think. Putting those two together it would seem we have Nichrome doughnuts in the DT attys which do in fact work...

Thanks for the photo and further information. If you're concerned about the aluminum part with the post in it that is heated it's supposed to be a bit loose. It sits on a Silicone rubber piece as I reacall, it can't be solidly mounted to the case since it changes size and shape with heating...

You should have known Ataxian was behind it when you saw the broken glass...... Some like the increased airflow, I'm not amongst them. My new model is a loaner. I'm a sipper by nature, hitting it hard gives more volume but thinner vapor (no magic....). I'd just be sipping on it anyway. And...

You are mistaken. It's Nichrome, Matt has told us that's what's used in all his units. But there are lots of alloys (and therefore constants) of Nichrome. With the 2.5 base and the RX200 an 'M value' of 245 seems to work well. AFAIK no TC mod has been found reliable for the DC, including...

Probably not, at least not enough to worry about. It's a matter of getting more cycles (recharges) from the battery but less sessions (vaping) per cycle. In the end you get about as many sessions total from the battery before it dies, you just recharge more often for shorter times. Nothing...

Ah that would be yesterday, right. Let's stick to the facts shall we? Folks have enough trouble following what I say as it is.......... Not to worry, folks, it was history. I hope nobody got hurt? OF

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

It's entirely possible I think. Restricted air flow should not reduce vapor production, only make it harder to draw? So fouling on the walls might insulate them, slowing heat flow and therefore reducing production, but reduced vapor production from reduced airflow alone doesn't seem likely...

First off, welcome to the Forum. Sorry you're having troubles, hope we can get you sorted out quickly. I'm confused, though, with the 'plugged into the wall' part. My Iolite runs on Butane, not electricity? Please confirm we're talking about that one? TIA I don't have mine handy, but IIRC...

I'll have a lash, but I'm more used to the similar (but different in key areas) programming for the Pico......I might lie to you along the way...... Basically you want to set it up so it runs in TC mode using a custom value for the calibration. A so called "M value" of 245 or so. We also want...

Pretty for sure. But Yew goes deep, deep, deep into our collective culture. The Brits did it to us (again). Seems Yew is (or at least was) the classic wood for bows back in the day when your archers kept the rabble off your knights in the field of honor (that means war). Dense clouds of...
