You need to use the vvps unless you have the other wallwart. After the vvps is the extension cord into dog.

The wallwart that came with the vvps CANNOT be plugged directly into the UD. Wallwart into vvps. Vvps into dog. You CAN buy a different wallwart and that will allow you run the dog and have no control over the power.
