Some butane torch vapes cause you to breathe the exhaust of the torch, like the vaporgenie. Time will tell if this is an issue or not. Neither the Vapman, Lotus or Vapcap work this way. You don't inhale the butane vapors with these units. Check them out on Youtube.

Don't forget to consider a torch-based portable. I know someone mentioned the vapman. There is also the Lotus and the relatively new VapCap. I love my Lotus and just ordered a vapcap to try. Even the fancy vapcaps are only $75 or so. There are lots of others too.

I haven't been big on my Firefly lately, but I do think it works well in this setting. I have big hands so I can palm it easily when taking a hit. It's great outside on the deck or porch too.

I have pre-loaded my Firefly and brought it to the beach. Throw a blanket over my head while lying down, hit it and blow it into a towel. No problem. If it's crowded I won't risk it. Other than the occasional camping trip, I just vape at home.

I wish there were quieter torches. The torch sound attracts attention and looks like your smoking crack. One reason why I went with the woodie over the glass model. The torch issue goes beyond the VapCap. This is an issue for most butane vape devices.
