So can you try to boil a stem with a piece of silicone at each end to protect it. With water in the pan it seems like the temp won't go high enough to melt the silicone. It will be hard to tell since all the silicone we get from different vape companies never tell us the ratings on them. So...

I have the infamous and it is small and 18 so the small with small joint argument is wrong unless I don't know what the heck I am talking about and that wouldn't surprise me. A ten buck reducer is easier to get if you have a smaller joint.
