I don't have a mini, but would probably utilize drip on any press. I appreciate getting my oil away from the plates as fast as possible, so it does not cook on the plates while I continue to press...

I've also had good luck with higher humidity presses. Particularly for buds that try to butter up on the plates. Helps flow and increased yields can be had! ...not any worse in quality at all, but if pressed at lower humidity, it butters all around the puck and arrests the flow.

I like the form factor and aesthetics. I'm curious what that mouthpiece disassembly looks like and how easy or difficult it might be for cleaning. Hopefully that mouthpiece is large enough diameter to squeeze a qtip through.

I am a big gauge fan... it allows one to really get precise, consistent and repeatable results. Having said that, with enough experience, I gained more of a feel and have gotten to know my press to the point I can operate without gauge and be very close to my desired pressures. @Trogdor I...

It was also a challenge to be consistency precise with temps. I had a honeymoon phase with it, but it lead me to other (IMO better performing) butane vapes like Lotus.

I use 2x4 160 bags the most. I use them both bottle tech with a cylinder prepress and brick style with the rectangle prepress. Yield is slightly improved with bottle tech, but I appreciate the ease and speed in which I can knock out brick presses. I find my 10t's sweet spot is 5-10g presses.
