It's connecting good. Is the heating element supposed to be orange in the middle then whiter as it goes up? Or should it be orange from the halfway point all the way up?

Mine seems to work perfectly. Nice orange heating element, heats up pretty quick it seems. The glass pieces don't match eachother, but with what I saved only giving 60 for it I plan to get a nice heady matching set that matches my knob and a new whip tube.

I've never hit an ssv (or any other whip style vape for that matter) but I just found a complete ssv setup (ssv, hose, all glass pieces) in my local c-list for 60 bucks! So I pulled the trigger! All I have for now is my solo so a nice home unit should be a welcome addition!
