@little maggie and @grokit I use the same mod box as the tubo so I could compare performance, battery life and efficiency with the same mod box. You know how the tubo works so you can absolutely use the same EVIC VTC mini mod box the tubo uses for your splinter. The splinter is much less...

@BigJr48 any mod box at least 60W is recommended. The Splinter uses a 60W Zion heater. I use a EVIC VTC mini mod box and it works awesome!

Here's a side by side pick of the Splinter using the same EVIC MINI mod box the tubo uses.

This has been my favorite set up using cruise mode. My tubo is working great now. I'm using RBT screens pushed to the edge, working nicely. I have had cruise shut off on me but it turned right back on.
