When I use my dnail, I drop a dab in and get about 3-5 hits that I just take consecutively and I haven't experienced the burnt taste you speak of. I did experience it when I took too big a hit and didn't get back to the next hit until after a minute or two due to coughing/having to blow my nose.

Again, the stars with lens flair or 6 points as mentioned are stars within our own galaxy and appear that way due to being much brighter than the background and because of a long exposure.

Just for some clarification on the image @cybrguy posted, anything with a lens flare is a star in our galaxy, everything else you see are galaxies further out. Also, several Einstein rings can be seen showing gravitational lensing of galaxies behind it.
