Instead of a second wash, I ran the KX soaked nugs through a butane wash. First wash didn't leave much behind.

There is a contact point on the 74 rods is on the bottom of the rod. The 71 rods only have a band around the rod. (No contact point on the bottom).

Sorry, to clarify, only Capital run was evaped with the skillet. The KX run was evaped at room temp. Edit: The BBQ Guru Digi-Q controller is $185 and the Power Raptor is $110.

I'm using a regular electric skillet plugged into a BBQ Guru Digi-Q and Power Raptor. It has a probe which I clip to a rack in the water bath. It senses the temperature and controls the skillet with high accuracy.

2.8g Pineapple Kush from 10g nugs. Extracted with Capital n-butane. 2.2g Pineapple Kush from 10g nugs. Extracted with Kleen Xtract.

KX was one wash. 3 minutes in the freezer. Shaking after the first and second minute. Using about half a pint of KX.(from freezer). Also freeze flowers before extracting. Also broke up nugs into smaller pieces.

5.4 g total from 20g flowers. Taste test trials are happening now.:smug: The KX run tastes like pineapple and vanilla with a hint of celery. The Capital run tastes slightly woody and piney with the same pineapple-vanilla-celery flavor. This leads me to believe that there are more terps...

Ok, sports fans, the results are in! So I started with 20g of Pineapple Kush. 10 grams got a 3 minute wash in a pint sized Ball jar with the Kleen Xtract covering the flowers. Shaken a bit each minute. Then filtered through a 10 micron SS mesh filter. It was evaporated at room temperature...

Check their website for phone number. I'm sure they will hook you up with the right filter for your process. I have ordered 2 times and have been very happy both times. Using their products today in fact.;)

@farscaper I do not typically winterize. My first wash with the KX is evaporating now. I guess I have to do 3 washes to get the full yield. With the Capital I get it all in one...just sayin'. (My second runs are usually not worth the can of 'Tane).

Getting ready to do a KX run today. Gonna run 10g Pineapple Kush top shelf nugs. I'm also gonna run 10g of the same flowers with Capital n-butane. Direct comparison between both methods. Is there any opinion on purging liquid KX on a silicone slick mat?

Omicron and Persei are NOT lower end oil Vapes. The TV is pricey but I have seen several members ditch them in the classifieds for Persei. Just sayin'.:2c:
