Some type of cap for the mouthpiece would be awesome. I feel it would help a little with containing smell when not in use (although there is hardly any to start with) but would also stop dust or pocket debrit from getting in there whilst in transit. An option in the meantime is to carry the...

    Vapman

Ok, finally getting around to posting pics of my vapman. It is the basic pear which i picked up in the massdrop last year and inspired by what @Mojo did with his, i went straight to torching it. Enjoy. And with this last one, since like others i discovered you cannot get the pan out, i had...

I was initially concerned about using glue and was thinking of a metal brace or something, until I had a closer look and realized that it was originally put together using glue. That is when i sent an email to Marc at firewood (the maker of fw3 as far as i know) asking about the glue he uses...

After mine broke i reached out to marc and he recommended ca glue, particularly ca wood glue to glue it back together. So basically any type of superglue. I have since glued it all back together and it is working great. I used locktight since it is what we had around. In fact, i don't know if...

Couldn't agree more. This was my first thought when i noticed the Zion in the regular portables (which is a good thing, i want my Zion too) Still, it seems totally in keeping with the constant -and seemingly ongoing- roadblocks and speedhumps which George has experienced bringing this to us all.

Disaster! 20 mins ago My fw3 fell out of my pocket.... It smashed into pieces and a battery fell out plus the electronics and heater section came half out. Hmm. Shit. Hmmmmmmmmm. Let's see what happens if you push it all back in? Bzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzzz. Ahh. Luckily I am just outside my...

The Summit by Vapium (Formerly MARK 1)

Tobacconists or head shops usually have screens available. I can't comment on home depot, but i assume if they have them and they are stainless steel then should be ok too. I don't think there is anything special about vape screens as such. I think the ones i use are meant for use in hashpipes...

    Vapman

Bummer, however if you check post #5181 from @vapman on the previous page he mentioned he had some for half price (with minor defects) which sounds like a special to me....maybe send him a pm.

    Firewood Vaporizer

Ran out of time to answer this yesterday, sorry. It makes the vapor much much smoother. Even on level 4 the vapor is super smooth. In a way too smooth, as you lose alot of the hot vapor feedback which is important with these types of vapes. But that is only a problem if you have the heat too...

How paranoid should I be after moldy weed

There's one in my daughter's Dr Who sonic screwdriver, which seems to be about $25 US. Soooo, check kiddies toys if there are any around, ha ha. Especially ones that have 'secret writing'. It may use uv light to reveal the message. I assume, therefore, that a dedicated uv light bulb should be...

Thanks @lingcod ,I also recall no such warning in the instructions. I used mine skiing for 3 days, putting it straight back into the dry bag after use with no problems at all, but i think that is a good tip, and if i have time and conditions permit, i think in future i will leave it to cool...

@Thunderwhale that is the flat battery warning shutdown. Sounds like a problem with the batteries or charger as they should last way longer than a month before needing to replace them. Maybe one of the 4 cells has failed? If you have an external charger you could take them out and charge them...

Aha, i see. Well the stem from @Ed's TnT was sent dec 1, 2015, so i assume that is the most recent style from him. I guess Ed or others could advise if there are different styles of Nano stems. Mine was a Cocobolo Nano stem ordered off the site, not a special order or anything. I have just...

    Firewood Vaporizer

My original post was regarding using an Ed's TNT Nano stem, not one of the original glass ones that come with the Nano. Is that the confusion? My follow up posts were more musings on whether or not the glass stem could be used, and then only because people were asking if the glass Nano stem...

Just a thought, but does anyone think it would be possible to wrap some thin string or cotton thread around the cracks to hold it together or keep the cracks from getting larger? Not necessarily this particular vape, i just used this pic as an example of the reported cracking issues with the ti...

^^not sure. I got it in the massdrop earlier this year. I know that was around the time that there were issues with the glass and i think it was prior to the change, so probably the old version. Anyone? OK. I just checked the glass nano stem. It fits into the fw3 but only just. I doubt it...

Damn your quick @OF, anyway @Tommy10 yes, seems to be the dampness. See above for what Mr Vapman himself had to say. Good luck.

I assume you keep it in the egg? Maybe it got damp and cannot dry due to the egg sealing in the damp? Try storing it out of the egg for a day or two. OR, Have you tried leaving it out in the sun on a warm day? Or maybe in the shade outside on a warm dry day, just in case. I doubt a day in the...
