Tobacconists or head shops usually have screens available. I can't comment on home depot, but i assume if they have them and they are stainless steel then should be ok too. I don't think there is anything special about vape screens as such. I think the ones i use are meant for use in hashpipes...

Ran out of time to answer this yesterday, sorry. It makes the vapor much much smoother. Even on level 4 the vapor is super smooth. In a way too smooth, as you lose alot of the hot vapor feedback which is important with these types of vapes. But that is only a problem if you have the heat too...

Thanks @lingcod ,I also recall no such warning in the instructions. I used mine skiing for 3 days, putting it straight back into the dry bag after use with no problems at all, but i think that is a good tip, and if i have time and conditions permit, i think in future i will leave it to cool...

@Thunderwhale that is the flat battery warning shutdown. Sounds like a problem with the batteries or charger as they should last way longer than a month before needing to replace them. Maybe one of the 4 cells has failed? If you have an external charger you could take them out and charge them...
