The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Does it help your accounting if we change a wood kit from ti to black? I like both, and I'd be happy to do so if it helps.

    Anvil by Vestratto

No, not for native use. I'm using a Simrell WPA, through water. It's just a straight tube.

    Anvil by Vestratto

It does not; the USA is a separate component. You'll need to also order a USA if you want to use Dyna-compatible stems. I use one with a Simrell WPA.

It fits in the XL (that's what I've been using for my beta), but not in the standard tube.

    Cannabis News

Sure, we already knew this, but it's great to see it out in the mainstream (if you consider "I Fucking Love Science" mainstream). I love this explanation for our cannabis fondness: "Overall, results indicated that chronic cannabis users tend to consume the drug for the simple reason that it...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yeah, I had to contact my bank after they locked my card. It was understandable, as I was making back-to-back orders. The Beta Kit was still showing as sold out when I already had a rosewood Tempest ready to go, so I submitted the Tempest order first. When the Beta Kit showed as available I...

Any reason why I shouldn't vape all day every day?

Absolutely--that's why I grow my own. Being relieved of the financial strain definitely made weed (and life) more enjoyable. As a bonus, gardening is a relaxing hobby.

    Dynavap VapCap

Me, too. Okay, it's just the stem, so it's a restomod 2019. It's sporting the M+ tip here, and I've just replaced that with an M7 tip after reading @StringTheorista express a strong preference for that tip over on Discord. On the half-bowl setting with the YLL IH at 35-40 watts, several seconds...

    Anvil by Vestratto

Yup; hot and cold, wet and dry, even with a little lube. That's definitely my technique. If I unscrew the chamber the same distance as the gap, it will seat. I think the adapter isn't drilled deep enough to receive the condenser. Thanks!

    Anvil by Vestratto

I think mine is the most recent version. I ordered it from Vestratto last November, and the website says that all USAs purchased after January, 2023 are the 2023 version. I guess I'll contact Vestratto; I just thought I'd check in here first to see if it's a known issue, or maybe not considered...

    Anvil by Vestratto

My USA has an irritating flaw. The oven (and I've tried more than one) won't seat all the way onto the adapter. If I seat it all the way down, the condenser stops the bowl from threading all the way in. It seems like the adapter isn't drilled deep enough to receive the condenser. Standing proud...

It is not true. I'm getting a dark, even roast on session mode at 395. Troy mentioned in his review that he's using on-demand most of the time, which pumps up the convection heat. I'd imagine that tends to scorch the top more--I don't know for sure, as I've used session mode almost exclusively...

    Dynavap VapCap

No bigger bowls for me, thanks. The Dynavap sweet spot is the half-bowl. In that configuration, with the right heating technique (usually a little past the click), a DV is a monster single-hitter. When it extracts all at once, it provides a full-spectrum, conduction-heavy blast--but I find that...

    Dynavap VapCap

I use the armored cap often on a ti tip with a simple glass WPA, and I always heat it with the YLL IH. I use it on the half-bowl setting, and it provides a milky single hit.

Your favorite portable vapes for glass pieces?

I've been enjoying a DV ti tip with an armored cap on a straight glass WPA; I really like the DVs conduction-heavy hit. I also play with the TA on the same stem occasionally, though I really prefer that on the TA stem. But my top choice, by a long shot, for a portable through water is the...

Oops--sorry about that. It wasn't necessary for me to impugn the names of those fine products. I have better, less libelous reasons that I prefer the Solo III, unrelated to my shaken consumer confidence. Thanks for the refresher; I think I've read about all 20 pages here in anticipation, but I...

I thought I was about done with portable electronic vapes. With the Tempest and Anvil I can get desktop power away from home, and I still love my DVs. Meanwhile, I never really bonded with my Mighty, and I like my Argo, but it has shortcomings. Given the QC problems with the TM and Venty, I...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

My spill occurred during my first (and only) ball cleaning. Those things sure can travel on a hardwood floor. I think I found almost all of them, but I didn't feel like counting, so I just went with this guidance from the manual: "Fill the chamber with balls until the bottom of the screen...
