    Herb Grinders

Nice post on this elusive grinder. I quite like the idea of this thing. I'm interested to know how often it needs cleaning? And if the blades are sharpened?

yeah 100% convection is a strange claim. On demand heating is as confusing though, for the same reason. There'd be a tiny amount of conduction, but it would be a lower temp than the air, but a faster transfer. You must have some dank to be noticing that though..!

Cool, well I probably didn't make good sense of it before. But yeah, they were banned, and they were like 'sorry guys, honest mistake' (which was not even really a mistake, I mean, a thread bump isn't the biggest evil out there now google changed their ways) and everyone here was like "you guys...

did you read my spiel explaining the ZenPen situation earlier? It kind of is, but it was mainly because of irate people here. And they left of their own accord, after some stupid bullshit they were able to continue posting, and they did for a short while. Okay, no link guy, I shall surf to...

gees that would be fast charging at 2000mA, I guess 23 minutes. The difference between 2 to 1 is twice the difference between 1 to 0.5, but the same amount proportionally. I guess also, a reviewer doesn't really have to worry about long term charge cycles when he's releasing a review 6 months...

that's what she said  How bad is the tear, as long as there isn't metal/metal contact with the hopper it will be fine. But best not to risk a short

Try electrical tape if it's not too bad. Otherwise, the hopper cell size is 12630. 14650 wraps might shrink to fit. I've heard a lot of people recommend it, but never anyone try it. Incidentally and on another note; I just unpacked an Xtar MC1 I got for a friend. It's a great size! Extremely...

Torch and e-cig forums I was reading and just from googling model numbers Look for the most part, Nitecore is a good brand. I'm bashing them too much. All I should be saying is there are better options, and it makes technical sense to use them. I've tried to learn and describe just why that is...

I've never had a problem with the power button, though I would say it is much too loud for certain situations, and it's very mechanical switching on and off every hit, some won't like that (especially Vape Critic). But in terms of robustness, apart from the very rare out of place pin, I didn't...

from the Battery University: "When the battery is first put on charge, the voltage shoots up quickly. This behavior can be compared to lifting a weight with a rubber band, causing a lag. The capacity will eventually catch up when the battery is almost fully charged (Figure 3). This charge...

The Nitecore/Xtar chargers use a CC/CV charge pattern. Constant Current (linear mAh increase) to a percentage of capacity (maybe 60/80% of the 750mAh) and then switches to Constant Voltage where the mAh increase becomes a hyperbolic curve asymptoting towards a 4.20V maximum. However the...

I've only just started noticing the difference between charging directly before/leaving overnight with my GHB2s (which live a hard life and are 3 months old). It makes the biggest difference for the full temp T5 hits, but also for lower temps the cloudage is noticeably more impressive straight...

The back end threads are Ti to SS on a Ti hopper (the clip ring extends down making the back-end threads) No idea how SS to Ti conducts, but I'd imagine any difference wouldn't really effect the overall circuit. I guess the SS would act as additional resistance, but it must be negligible...

Considering the charging tendencies of the D4 I mentioned before, plus the fact that HL have tested a batch of someones month old batteries and reported the charger (a nitecore D4 in two cases) killed them, It seems like it's good advice to say stop charging the GHBs with the Nitecore D4

No problem, make sure to share your findings as quality lab glassware would be a good change from the general DHgate cheapies everyone flocks to. It can be hard to find lab glass for a good price though. I believe the most appropriate scientific ground glass joint taper to be 19/38...
