I think that the perc on that CCG toilet seat perc is too high in the can. I think that piece would be better with the perc on the very bottom, maybe even welded to the bottom. Also might benefit from a larger recycle chamber. Almost ordered this one.

The slits in the perc on the green one look flame polished, but the clear ones look a little chippy and rough like my DO20.:shrug:

I had no luck with the Herc using the stock batteries. I can remember @THC SCIENTIFIC posting that the stock batteries could even be damaged by the power-hungry Herc SR-71. ( not sure if that applies to the 74).

@PPN Are they AW batteries? Are you using the stock charger? It may be a safe bet to replace them before something bad happens. I am always making sure that I put the batteries in the charger with the positive end up. ( just my paranoia) I am charging frequently and try to pay attention to...

While ISO, Everclear and KX, are all flammable liquids. There is much less danger than doing BHO indoors (not an option). If you are using these indoors be sure to have plenty of ventilation and a window open, if possible. SAFETY FIRST!

I use a 25 micron clamped on my tube and I have 4 brass screens inside the tube at the end. No blowouts no pressure problems. With the tane kept in the freezer, it is like just pouring slowly out of the end of the tube. I can't really even call it blasting.:shrug:

For a HOT 7.4v KISS I use 32awg NiChrome 80, 5 wraps around a 7/64" FC2000 ceramic wick. Higher number gauge = smaller wire. 36awg for 3.7v.
