Swap out the stem for a diffused stem with a Gong fitting and you have new life for an old friend. Oregonglassblower on Ioffer.com hooked me up with the stem and a grommet.

@FUnhouse Maybe you could try a piece of surgical tubing. You know the stretchy kind like on a wrist rocket. A friend had an old Graphix that he was able to fix this way. Edit: and some PBW!:)

I did see this effect today. You are not full of shit @farscaper! Today's batch came out rather waxy. Not quite shatter, not quite crumble. It was a mix of 3 strains that I had leftovers of. Kind of old and dry and crispy.
