Actually the 7.4v v2 top is the only one that can run the evolution period. The v2 top right now can't put out enough currrent at 3.7v but the new top will. You don't want to run a stantard 6v evo at 7.4v so I would get the lv evo when you get the upgraded v2 top and just run it off of a single...

It comes down to a minimum of 5.5 amps at a nominal 3.7 volts (20 watts max output at 4.2 volts) The problem is the ecig batteries don't tell you how many amps or watts they can safely put out, and you need a voltmeter to measure it yourself. So knowing the requirements doesn't really help too...

Oh ok that makes a lot more sense, that picture's field of view tricked me into thinking it wasn't very tall... I haven't actually seen the universe but when G showed me the 8 on skype the bottom of the bowl looked dark with a steel center post. The universe has some kind of center post too...

Finally a bowl shot! The most revealing pose for any vaporizer! Though I have as much faith in you as always, I have a hard time seeing that bowl handle oil... unless there is some kind of liquid trap under the holes... :ninja:

I tend to believe it when it comes from a big company like panasonic, they say the technology is a hybrid between li-ion and imr. So you get high current discharges and decent capacity too. But imr are very safe and li-ion can be dangerous if over-discharged... I wonder how delicate they are?

Go ahead and answer thc but yeah it does sound to me like the cart got too hot. If the wick inside gets too hot it vapes off all the oil in the middle and can't saturate from the ends fast enough. You basically end up with wisps of vape and a lot of hot air...
