A trick I've found for the oil on the rim is, take the top off, heat up the ceramic nice and hot and drop a lil wax ball on the side. The melting wax will wick the oil off of the side if you have it tilted right :tup:

Interesting, I usually take my HA from 325 to 375 personally, but it's good to test at the extremes too I think the white-out is the lcd screen actually changing due to the heat, it's just a liquid between two panes of glass so repeated over-heating should definitely be addressed...

I know it's late in the design and possibly difficult but a way to measure amps would really be awesome. Does it measure the voltage while the cart is in use? Can you watch it drop?

I had the same gripe about the tv way of pricing parts. Basically the mentality is that the pricing for parts is artificially low so that current customers save money on replacements or upgrades. You buy the full kit and you are supporting the company more financially.
