I glued back together my old MV cap with Locktite Stick n Seal Extreme since it, at least according to the label, cures inert.

Not sure if I'm interpreting what you wrote correctly or not, but if you like blurple (I don't have that color choice btw :D) just heat it to that. No need to heat it to Red first with a proper MV. Hitting the MV dry on Red will trash my throat....way too hot. Red needs water for cooling....at...

The way I eventually knew was if the herb I thought was or should have been spent in the MV actually wasn't.

Bottom line. This is the classic failed/failing MV I and others have had to have replaced. Same for you it seems.

That's exactly what I did. That tubing, which I also use with my glass straw, but a small piece, fits nice and snug over lid nipple. @Kommyknocker ......hope your turnaround time for replacement doesn't top my 55 day wait for #3 it took from VN (not really their fault though).

I bought the same thing some time ago. It's a nice piece of kit for sure. The only thing that worried me about it, is that an inadvertent exhale during use and it empties out.....down that tube into the MV. My setup was only as long as the Flexicone+ though, so your setup with the longer tube is...

@ killick Careful there. There is a warning in the instruction booklet that says " never use the device when it's resting on the charging base. During this time, the vaporizer is in the process of recharging and using it could cause irreversible damage"

@killick you are on the lowest (blue) temp setting. Move her on up to pink, green and if your feeling brave (assuming dry hitting here) go to red.....be near or on your favorite chair/bed. :smug:

Why is that? What's to give up on since they seem to have all the issues sorted out? New glass core model and updated Teflon core version as far as I know are all fine. Do you have information that contradicts this?

@Roger D I meant to ask before since I believe you have a beta version of the glass bowl/basket, if you could/are allowed to share a photo of what it looks like?

I tend to take my time and kick back for going on ten minutes or so and can finish off the large basket. Mind you, I don't pack the basket hard. I probably get 7 good hit's or so out of it. The taste curve is on a downward swing towards the end without question.

This is what I get on my recent replacement TCmV at Pink from start to finish. I use a Space Case grinder, pretty light fluffy grind in a large basket. Nice mostly even extraction.

You keep reinforcing my inclination to pick up a GCmV to supplement/compliment, or simply as a back up to the TCmV I have. So far the only thing holding me back is what appears to be the apparent imminent update which will include more end user temperature selections. Itll be a tough wait, but...
