Correct. Even with the quartz I had to do a dry "go" cycle to burn off what oil I was not able to swab. The metal buckets the insert rests in seems to offgas every time. I was waiting until I saw no vapor trail before I took a dab. Not exactly a unit made for back to back dabs.

I think even on the lowest setting it's getting too cooked (the load). I think if an update came out with a lower temp it might work. On the low setting it looks like the heat builds. Whatever temp it's aiming at is too high for that environment (capsule) IMO.
