It seems to be oriented toward something. I hadn't figured it out. Not trying very hard. Did you note any difference in taste between the '20 and the '18?

I will let Mr_C cover this too but I have mentioned this before in a general sense of utilizing the IH. It also tells me this happens with torches. VC's are not necessarily efficient. I noted the whisps on removing the stem when the cap would touch the glass. Over time, vape honey built up...

I've been waiting for a combustion event to change to a new quill stem. The glass one is just about honey'd out. Today was that day. Playing with different IH is like playing with different torches. Not bad though. I think I went at least a week on the glass hybrid stem without combustion...

This is an analytical data-point and I want to add the Ti tip data when I get it. This is also anecdotal as I don't have anything but this data and the hearsay of the forum. When I put the '18, '19, and '20 through the IH, all else being equal, these are the force coupling I see on my IH; Test...

    Dynavap VapCap

I don't think there is anything different about the captive cap besides a couple of crimps. I oval'd it out of the way and the dimples completely disengaged. I don't thing the cap itself is any different. I think is has something to do with the flats on the tip providing even less convection...

Buy the '19 also and if you like it better, give your brother the '20  Money saved on shipping

    Dynavap VapCap

I may be part of the confusion. I started Dynavap with an '18-M. Wrestled with it for a long time until I recently 'fixed' it. Works a cure now! Got a pair of '19-m's on black friday... meh. and the '20-m just doesn't deliver for me. I'm a heavy hitter and for some reason, it is a difficult...

My '18-M kicks ass. I made it mine. Sorry, no comparison to the C-Vap I got. ...and ask anyone, I'm a tough customer. You should meet my friends :lmao:

    Dynavap VapCap

My '20-M will be my C-Vap. I wouldn't do that to a buddy. Everyone I know has lungs. Then again, most of the peeps I know would stuff a bud in there, pitch the cap and light it. :D :leaf: "Fancy toker Dude!"

LOL And I stand corrected yet again  I suck at trivia too  Need a partner :suspicious: Crap - Gremlins! Way ahead of you @RustyOldNail - 'old time flashaholic here. Even had one of the 18650's with the 10440 inside. And the 'ash'! :uhh: I was more worried about the sandy-ash...

Like Tribbles, don't get them wet :science: Fortunately that is rather the exception. But abuse, sure, they'll let you know before they go ballistic; literally. I never buy cheap cells. Meaning off-brand.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

I remember being introduced to a 14500 Li-ion and said "oh shit!" :mental: Now I use them in line with a diode to safe on Alkalines.
