Stem does not require dismantling to keep clean. The video was simply instruction on HOW to dismantle and clean.

If you mean the blue gasket, I wiggle it a little as I apply pressure and I feel it wedge nicely in place. There should be a spare gasket in the box... did you try that one?

I do not have one like this. My earliest was the INH04, which still worked, but the charging port was disconnected, and it took much work to get the USB into the loose unstabilized port. The unit you showed us in the video worked similarly to Iolite, in the manner the heat was applied.
