I definitely understand that feeling. Maybe aromatherapy device or something similar would be less "paraph-like" however there are plenty of kinds of vaporizers. We use them at work to vaporize chemicals into fabrics to remove any bacteria or bad stuff, we also have vaporizers in some shops...
