I don't use the Flare with my Tempest but do with the TA3 and when heating either with my Wand I left the Tempest insert the same for both. The recommended setting for the Flare with the TA3 is setting the Flare stopper as high as it goes. That's probably a good starting point to try.....or buy...

Agree on 420 preorder. I paid US $349 for the Forge and $71 for the Tornado.

I use a dry top 99% of the time.......got it at Zeevapor.

The Wand works well with Thermocore and fits in Tempest insert perfect. I leave it at same depth setting as Tempest....just needs to be heated longer.

Sugar Soap soak and some shaking makes them look like new.

I run my Tempest wide open and it is still more restrictive than my USA Thermocore fully closed. For some it's a negative, not so for me.

Dynavap standard tip is 0.05 to 0.1 grams (Hyper is 0.25 grams) and Tempest adjustable bowl is 0.075 to 0.15 grams.

Wholeheartedly agree. Only had it for two days, but of the 3 portable IH's I have (Flare, Forge and Wand) this works best with the TA3.

Don't bother.....doesn't fit in the Forge.

My assembly method is with herb chamber removed I insert the condenser into Thermocore oven first and then screw herb chamber fully seated back onto oven and lastly attach the adapter. No gap for me like in your picture. If your going 'yeah yeah that's how I do it' then seems a part on yours is...

So far so good. It's crazy powerful... you're really going to enjoy it. You may as well use it while you wait for the swap out....no reason not to since its just the display gone dead.
