PBW makes glass so damn slippery, I'm all about letting some pieces be as stationary as possible in the cleaning process. Others I do as you say. With premixing, you can just pour it in and let it sit, then rinse and that's pretty much it. If I was shaking around, I'd probably prefer salt + alcohol
