There are some international Cloud+ out there with the black knot and without the I O in the switch. Mine is one of them. It works like a Cloud + but it seems like an OG except for the bamboo.

Is not that the bamboo moves freely, is that you can push it a little. In my cloud+ (and others) it was needed because the bamboo was too low. I moved it some milimeters upwards and it has never moved again. Here you can see a pic of my bamboo before pushing it: I remember Troy and SM...

In fact, if I remember right, they have a deal with retailers that they can't sell the cloud under price or that will void the warranty.

They are trying to take your words ans use it against you. Anodizing is oxidation over the surface, not painting. Tell them that the anodizing has been scratched, not "chiped", from normal use.
