It could be my imagination, but I think the airflow is more open. The bowl has these wee slits/ crenellations at the top unlike the TT/terp (which rely on holes in the heater itself). I guess the 18mm/14mm aspect impacts on airflow as well. That said, they're all excellent devices, so not sure...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

If I have a complaint about the Tempest it's that the head wiggles ever so slightly when placed on the Rosewood stem. On the metal, it's rock solid. Tbh, I'm not that bothered, but it makes me slightly concerned when removing it from the Reload.

    Suggestions for small portable bubblers?

You're right, these little ones don't do much cooling dry, but a little water makes a huge difference, and I find less hassle than j hooks when traveling. If water's not your thing, milking a Dynavap into one and then shotgunning the contents can give a punchier hit than a standard toke. I...

    Manual Vape Thread

Mine arrived today, and I can already see why that might be. Although after a half bowl (.07g) of really ordinary cherry pie, I'm teetering at the upper end of pleasantly pleased - so there's probably still a place for the Vapman as my companion to getting things done. Was initially...

At the risk of annoying Frederic Jameson fans (via Zizek/Fisher), it's easier to imagine the end of capitalism than what comes after 2339.

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I've frequently bemoaned the lack of cheap glass in the UK, so here are two options for folks who don't live in the US. I've posted one of these here before, as a travel option but a slightly larger version arrived last week (same basic perc, larger capacity, with a carb and more delicate...

Advice on fucking combustion by leveraging filtration to our advantage

Hilariously I vaped flower, whilst continuing to combust hash with tobacco. I told myself the hash tasted better with tobacco for a good 3 years. It didn't. But I managed to convince myself for a very very long time.

Dating recent ivory is easy apparently, but old ivory, even 19thC ivory, is significantly harder to date accurately because of the lack of c14

    The Toad from Morwood

I once met a bloke in a pub who claimed to be a world expert on dating historic ivory. According to him, ivory is not able to be radio carbon dated, and he also claimed to make a fair living as an expert witness for criminal investigations. Anyway, nice button

Vapmans are surprisingly stealthy. Used mine on ferries, trains, in a prison, down a mine, as well as several Neolithic burial sites. And that's just Scotland
