    Dynavap VapCap

Well so it is! What a dumb name for a car! You and I load the same @Planck . The difference may be that when you draw, the flower is already expanded to its maximal state for that heating cycle. The subtle variation is that I am drawing on a load that is continually getting hotter and...

I got two flowermate, one with faulty power button and one with a lead that I accidentaly disconnected, can I repair them?

Those are Li-Po cells right? Not the canned round cells. They can sputter and fry but they don't tend to 'blow up' in the general sense. If the vape ever gets seriously hot, just throw it on the ground somewhere that it can't damage anything. Water doesn't put out a battery fire but it could...

Caught that did you?  Something about natural processes having common elements maybe? :D

    Dynavap VapCap

It takes a light fluffy flower for one. Heavy resin stuff would choke you and me both. It's one of those things where if you open up the vape gates in the flower and keep the heat on it, it just keeps coming. Before you know it, 'popcorn'. The clouds are not huge. It just comes in and...

    Dynavap VapCap

We may do a lot of screwing around here but we do like real vapcap related discussions. Having said that, no. Then again, I've never used a torch. I am trying to get a half bowl heated well for a single draw extraction from a Ti tip using an IH. I suspect the IH heats up the clicker quiet...

    Dynavap VapCap

You always make sense @Planck . Was it a sports car or a -cool- oldie? :D No people do NOT shove ice-cubes up you Vong!

Hey @Gryff - welcome to the new FC.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

So a unit that weights 8 oz and has enough charge for a normal day's use is sufficient @Stark1 ? Certainly not a pipe dream but it is a tricky balance from a product offering perspective. Replaceable vs. rechargeable. Obviously it wants both but replaceable is the bigger ask. A modular pack...

Roast Box - Zippo heater case for Dynavap

In this case you probably don't need the VapCap either... Caught this in another thread - Arizer Solo stem.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

So you have the answer I've been looking for @Stark1 - Since the balance of weight v. battery life is a tricky one in such a product, what is your 'perfect balance"?

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Working hard on the truly portable for you @Stark1  Wait, weight is "truly" portable that the Fluxer and PSM isn't?

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

Welcome to the new FC @Naturesvapor  You know we're gonna have to clone Mr. C! Let's see if the Flix will be heavy duty lighter plug cable capable. That way the car is covered.

    Dynavap VapCap

...And that! That makes it fully adjustable too!

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

...And it is exactly because it has no BMS [& associated battery pack] installed that the Flix is a new critter. How's the testing on the variable brick going? Are you aware of that yet @Stark1 ? Okay, not to put you on the spot @mr_cfromcali but to satisfy @Stark1 's concerns, you could...

    Dynavap VapCap

Thanks @FunkShui - I was comparing the incursion depth in comparison. I had some rad ideas on a stem with this new trick.

Uhrmmmm... well... yea... sure put the wire back. If it comes back to life things are good. If not, well, the short was fatal.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

There are options in this direction as well. Easiest is the readily available packs. 12v 10a capable and you're set. You know those little cells that power the PSM? They'd work too. I'm running an IH with 3 little AA sized cells. They just won't last the whole day. So no, the footprint...

    The Magic-Flight Box

@Junny89 - if anyone can find usable cells it's going to be you. Thanks  As to recovering old Ni-Cads - putting the bad cell in parallel with a good cell for about 5-10 seconds does wake up a zero-voltage cell. Some of your gold cells will probably read zero. Both mine did.

    The Magic-Flight Box

I can push 2 amps with the Opus BT3100 @Junny89 . Forget PowerEx. Someone once made sense of the problem with today's cells. The internal resistance of the cells has to be less than the load to avoid over-heating. Our device resistance is 0.07 ohms. These cells are well over 0.12 ohms...
