Definitely try not to create any suction , that can cause it and make sure your not over filling or filling the overflow and you should never have a problem.

It should not leak any water at all unless you are doing something wrong or have a defective ht , make sure your not filling the overflow chamber at the bottom with any water. I never had a problem with any of my vapexhale ht's leaking.

Ty i have one metal & one plastic , i am wondering if they can be popped off and interchanged. I happen to like the metal a bit better for some reason. I am guessing the newer versions now all come with the plastic.
