It gets warm, but never uncomfortably warm. Not like my Davinci Ascent - after 15 minutes, the area around the oven is so hot I can barley hold onto it!

I still miss my Indica :cry: With the lid shut, my Indica was practically odorless while off (unlike the Haze and Ascent which stink up my jacket!)

I've found the Ascent really shines in the low temp vaping for pure flavor. Try setting it to 340F and sipping away. Some of my strains have almost TOO much flavor with the Ascent at these low temps

I grind my bud (loading between 0.1 and 0.15g per load). But that's because I love to cloud chase. I have and you can use the Nano with unground herbs. The real benefit is the flavor - you will enjoy flavorful hits for an entire session if you start with a nugget and break/stir it up as you vape.
