Try fresh charged batteries. They may have enough juice to heat the oil but not quite enough to produce vapor. You might also check to see if your coil has moved up the chamber. One other thing to check. Is there enough oil inside?:freak:

My friend just bought one of these. http://lit-enail.com. Seems to work well. The coil gets red-hot when the carb cap touches it. It also gets red hot during heat up. This may take away from the longevity. But it works very well. But at that price, I have no regrets with my Errlectric purchase.

Today is a sad day in the DieHard Household!:cry: My beloved JoDa dabber broke. I used it EVERY day. It fell to the wood floor from about knee height and the business end broke off. At least there is this ray of sunshine is there to comfort me. :cool:

I start at 30"Hg and work my way down. Depending on the temperature. (Also spending on strain) Remember, water can boil at room temp under vacuum. Too much temperature under vac, you can boil off your terps.

I find that when heating up from cold, it only takes about 2-3 minutes max to get to 700-800. Didn't really time it tho. It does not overshoot the preset temperature by more than a few degrees. Running at 600 now. It seems to hold within +/- 5 degrees at idle. Immediately after an average...

Got my FC-187 today. Woohoo! BUT. The perc is pretty high up in the can. At least 1 cm. if I put the water level 1/8" above the perc, I get water in the MP. I like the look better than my deceased GB-187. The MP is much less wonky. The GB has a bigger base too 4 3/4". Vs 4 3/8" on the FC...
