i cough when using all my vapes especially when going for big clouds. i quit smoking for like 3-4 months now, thats cigs and herb. now i can't even stand the smell of any combustion! yuck!!!! Vitolo is right when you combust you will know it, cause it will taste like crap. :D

i just stuck a screen in the male joint that connects to the solo and shoved some herb in there. but the joint is made from some very thick glass. sorry when i say i broke my custom stem i meant this one not the ash catcher one.

i got it from ALT, bought it to collect hash too. http://www.aqualabtechnologies.com/glass-accessories/ash-catchers/grav-labs-45-phoenix-ash-catcher-18-mm.html I just tried using it like that and got some vape but not alot like with solo stem, i guessing its because the glass on the ash catcher...

@ sessnet maybe try using an ash cather like this. haven't tried it yet but i think it can work.

Umm the solo stem is already a perfect oil collector.

Alan are the ss slide inserts included with the glass tubes or have to be ordered separately? The tube combinations keep growing, I love it!! Can't wait to try them all.

yeah i made my first purchase from ALT and i'm extremely disappointed. I ordered a ash catcher and a few other connection joint pieces. the ash catcher came with a flea bites and the joints looked poorly made, emailed them like a week ago with no replies yet. :( man i feel like they picked out...

I think I found what you are looking for, I call it the Magic Solocron :D but joking aside i don't think there will ever be a perfect vape, especially when everyones idea of perfect will be different. imho i think it will alway boil down to a combination of vapes.

^^^ same here. it was really tight at first but after a few times using it, it will get better. i'm really glad these newer unit seems to be very good. i may end up getting another solo.

my 105 was pretty tight, i thought the stem wouldn't fit and was afraid to break the stem. but after carefully putting it in and out a few times i guess it just worked itself out. now everything is perfect!

i keep forgetting to ask about taste comparisons between the 2. does the VRIP actually gaves a better taste, and what about the blue vapor that the vrip advertises? couldn't the LSV do the same, i notice that when i hit the LSV at a lower temp i get kinda a bluish tint to vape in my bubbler, but...
