If you have a newer unit with the killswitch in the off position I doubt there's any worry. If you don't have one with a killswitch, I would take the battery out before storing it

I'd rather have vapor quality than a tiny form factor. I have an RX2/3 mod and I think if the mod is <100mm before the stem is inserted would be about the upper end of what I'd use and wouldn't look absurd since the mod itself is just shy of 90mm. The Zion510 or something similar works great imo
