For the bowl , I use a q-tip with iso , and put a fine screen under the q-tip . And use the fine screen as a mop and swirl around the bowl . It works great , to get at the outer rim , I use a pair of tweezers on top of the fine screen . 99.9 % iso is perfect .

+ 1 That's what I use too . They're a bit pricey though , but I find they fit snugly in the stem . The screen is real fine , but doesn't add to any extra restriction in your draw . I bought a new box of 16 when I got my Solo last 07/12 . So far I've only gone thru half the box .

Yes it needs to be cleaned . You can see a layer of brown ABV in the stem . You should try to scrape it off , it could be the cause of clogging . And if your screen is " sticky " , you probably have resin built up on it . Soak it in iso , and re-use . In fact , if you don't need to reclaim ...

+1 on No combustion on 7 . But I find you get less flavorful hits , like maybe 3 good tasty hits with dense vapors . Then I have to switch stem, at level 6 though , I can usually get 6 to 7 good hits before switching stems . ime

I stand corrected . It is user error . Dude , push in the stem all the way down . we should not even be able to see the herb . edit : Once the Solo is heated up , slowly twist in the stem . Try not to smack your forehead too hard , because your enjoyment will start immediately .:)
