    The Arizer Air

The first nug was a fair bit denser in its makeup when I broke it up to put in the grinder & I was surprised enough to post it on here. I am similar to Bravesst in how I like my weed extra dry for vaping though. Not sure why I put 19% loss as it is usually between 11-14% (stoned maths right...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Well I found it did not hurt my experience YMMV. It assists with keeping the bottom screen clearer & you coudl achieve the same by making a mini puck only a mm or 2 high out of a suitably small screen (the idea is to create a small gap between the built in screen & your herb). I just like the...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

@Boosted Nano I found a ceramic puck screen worked very well at the bottom of a load. I can't remember if it was 8 or 9mm but it was slightly bigger than the titanium ones i use for the mouthpiece that were 8mm.

    The Arizer Air

My Air is receiving very heavy use this weekend & I am enjoying the effects of a 7.45am stem right now. I ground up two different nugs yesterday & after a light drying the results were one nug went from 1.72 down to 1.53 & the other went from 1.64 to 1.48. This is a significant reduction in...

    The Arizer Air

I like to think of it as patina on your oven & the sign of a well loved piece of equipment. In 30 years those hipster vapers will pay extra for an Air/Solo with heavy patina. You don't want to know what those early ceramic ovens Solos will be worth to the hipsters either... You know how you get...

    Herb Grinders

The GR8TR is 55mm & my puck puck is 56mm. I think the 55mm is a typo though but yes it is 2.2" or 55/56mm. Edit: Here is links with good descripitons & pictres of the different GR8TR models & the puck http://www.australianvaporizers.com.au/store/kannastor-gr8tr-55mm-grinder-vape-edition.html...

How I gather wand hash! (EASY)

TBH I have not tried it yet. I might try some today & see how it tastes though :)

    The Arizer Air

I weighed a nug before that was 1.21g. After being ground & left under my heater light (probably 5 minutes too long) I had .91 left! I have been weighing the before & after but that felt like a particularly solid nug. My usual loss is between 11-19% & I am happy to accept that to have it in the...

    Herb Grinders

I believe it is also a 3 part grinder without a kief chamber.

    Herb Grinders

@delloy I should have purchased that grinder a few weeks ago as it does look sweet & I have a Kannastor storage puck already that is the same size. I did purchase a 2 piece SC titanium & was not initially impressed with it compared to my generic 4 piece. After sticking with it I find it gives...

How I gather wand hash! (EASY)

I have a small jar 1/2 full of 99% Iso. I always throw my Air & EQ screens to soak & same with my elbow & stem adapters (if I don't make naughty milk with them). Once it has reached a dark amber colour I wet a couple of coffee filters with Iso & then dump the reclaim Iso into the filter. Hold...

I tighten mine without fear & have not noticed any cracking yet. Suspicious it is a batch related issue if it is fairly isolated.

@Nugg. Do it. Do it now . Trust me when everything is fitted correctly & seated right you will be :razz::razz:

14mm vs 18mm is bigger better?

This is interesting as I was expecting a far more hardline stance on one size or the other. I think I will stick with 18mm pieces as it is easier to step down than step up as pointed out & keep it simple. Hell I can even get an 18/18 stem for my UFO tube if I want. Actually that may not be a bad...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I always wondered about that & never paid the green light staying on as anything more than some weird Canadian power thing. I do know that I have to use a separate outlet fr my EQ to work as I cannot plug it into a powerboard for example. I think mine has a US plug but I purchased it from AV &...

    The Arizer Air

Never had that problem but it looks like pretty decent customer service from Arizer. If they send you a complete unit worst case you get an extra charger, stirring stick, two stems & stem caps for the cost of freight. You can never have enough spare stems, caps & batteries I think. Breeds peace...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

What in the fucking fuck fucker? You mean to say that if I leave it plugged in but switched off it will heat up faster? That explains why on a Friday evening if I break out the EQ it is never as satisfying as it is on say Saturday or Sunday before he goes back in the cupboard.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I had my EQ make some very "unnatural" noises last week. They were some sort of electrical whine/crackle/buzz/click so I disassembled the EQ & blew out everything. To me the single biggest thing to do when reassembling is to ensure the rod, screen cover & heater cover are all seated well. Take...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Looks like PIU is now stocking the titanium screen for the FM :). http://www.puffitup.com/Flowermate-Titanium-Screens-p/gen.120_scrn-mtl.fm.htm There is a very clear picture of how the screen looks in the stem in the link. I don't know any others who were using this screen outside me but if you...

14mm vs 18mm is bigger better?

Having grown up in a different cannabis culture I am curious as to what is preferred amongst the vaporizing community? Why is there two main sizes? In Australia we had the old thin stem & then the new bonza fat ones came out. All that meant was your stem took longer to block up with a tar/ash...
