the only issue i had with the ss tips were that they zapped all the heat out of my HI, so i have to wait longer between hits. when i use the ss tip i use course ground herb, i pack about 1/2 full max.

i'm guessing my black one is good. PV said he ran a few cycles for me and it had no (robot fart) smell. now i'm dying to try my aquavape with the solo. i think it will be amazing.

just ordered mine from planetvape, i told them to open it up and check for smells before sending and they were more then happy to help. i should get mine soon, i ordered a silver but wanted a black. after reading my post PV pm'ed me about a new shipment of blacks coming in and he will upgrade...

also made this for vaping hash. i call it the hash nipple, hehehe based on Alan's double glass tip, but i used the fatter tubing and stuffed it into an 18mm to 14mm reducer. i knew one day all my glass accessories will come in handy :)

yeah i think it will work, waiting for my new solo to come. just bad luck i sold mine before aquavape came.

the seal is pretty good, i get super massive clouds. mom i tried with ss tube too, it was good too. but i kinda prefer the glass atm. the beauty of this is you can swap out the tips if you want too.

don't know the exact size of the tubing, its just the standard turbo tube tubing Alan uses. the glass tip just sits right on top of the heat port, doesn't go in.

hopefully they will send out a new one soon. but i still have the itch to fix this one. i will keep you posted on my findings.

glad everyone like my turbo tube idea. here is what you need to make one. -aquavape -glass roasting tip/tubing and a screen. Alan sells all this stuff. i recommend getting a few glass roasting tubes to mess around with.
