    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Try starting on yellow/low, you can hit as much as you want and the flavor just stays. Then move up to orange to finish it off. This way you extract 90% of the stuff when the vapor is tastey and you don't have to cook it so much at higher temps. I usually get chocolate brown abv rather than dark...

lol that sounds just like me back before we figured out what activated party mode... I almost slipped and threw the Pax so many times

I have seen it very occasionally too, like you said turning it on and off always fixes it so I never worried I've had it start blinking orange during warm up and also once when I took it off the charger so I'm not sure what the cause is... I think the Pax just likes flashing different colors

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

My personal take on it was similar to yours: I don't think the flower Cera is a poor performer but more like the mflb, a good first vape for someone with a low tolerance maybe, just not completely satisfying for a heavy duty cannabis user. I enjoy the Pax but it goes through flower like a...

The trick is to intentionally draw slow (like being delicate at the very end of a joint) If the MP gets hot it means you're pulling a lot of warm air through it, slow down, let the air get hotter in the oven, and you get a cooler MP and bigger clouds! This way even low temp gives you nice...

Actually I was meaning to "rough up" the inside of the mouthpiece tube with a rougher wool because when it's cold the little imperfections should scrape away the cold resin better and make clean contact to prevent the temp light. I have a feeling steel wool could have a double positive effect of...

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

There's a million different styles/weaves they could use and it would be strong and light... But carbon fiber is carbon strings encased in epoxy resin (glue like hard plastic), it must be just a sleeve I think, surly they wouldn't have bare cf touching hot metal?

Yeah don't worry harmudge I've been there before, this forum is so free and open it's nice to think of it like a real society but take it from me... you can't start a revolution against the admins, after all they pay the server bills! (or work for the person who does) And they are a lot less...

I was thinking the same thing, I use #000 on my car which is the finest second only to #0000. It doesn't scratch the stainless steel exhaust bits Do you know what number you have? #00, #0, #1, #2, etc. get progressively rougher... I think it goes all the way to 5 or 6!

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

Man I was thinking the same thing... but those same people probably don't read FC and I doubt they would know the correct battery... they should probably ship the cera with instructions so people don't try to jam it full of C's or AA's...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

My opinion: Agree x1,000. The Pax is elegant, easy to use, and provides a level of medication not before available in a portable of it's size! The omicron/mflb are nice but the Pax is truly a vape ex smokers will enjoy. The Cera is a very well/over-engineered device, super hi-tech and...

But that's assuming a simple iso wash is 100% effective on metal. I think cliff has it right: The main reason I think it's resin is because resin is hard when cold and liquid when warm and the temp light issue gets worse when cold and better when warm, just like the resin. You only need a few...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Well my instinct says it's heat that makes it work, because as winter gets colder I'm seeing it more often lol. There are two possibilities that I see, the heat is warming up a thin resin layer, or condensation is filling a gap between metal bits (like if you got a Pax with a defect, a catch...

Excellent use of a toolbox! Are the other drawers vape-related too?

CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

Both very good, they really do capture certain aspects, however I fear they are lacking the "wisdom" factor... How about: Only the oldest man in the world could contain enough knowledge!

Maybe my tastebuds are less sensitive or something but I only clean under the metal screen and the vapor path maybe twice a month. The bowl still tastes great on yellow imo! I do wipe it out and clean the bowl after each sesh though, I also finish a bowl in about 10-20 mins and empty it rather...

I think of scratches and marks on tools as battle scars... badges of honor each and every one! It's proof you've been using them shows how a great tool can stand the test of time :2c: Look at this proud flashlight owner showing how great his tool is :lol...

I carry my Pax with keys, jagged-edged flashlights, you name it. It really only wears the very edges: (You can zoom in to see the detail) But in normal use it looks like brand new!

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

That's a good point but protected batteries (which are recommended) usually are a bit bigger so I would guess it can fit about a 670mm battery. I also rember them saying that the slide switch/safety switch requires button top cells but if you remove it (giving the cera a sleeker look too) then...

I'm not sure what you mean, he already told us he removed the black plastic top from his MP stem. If it's just the stem in there then pushing something down where the ring should be will force the catch to move sideways like the ring does every time you click it open. See how it's ramped/angled...
