    Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

What is the resistance of the rev? Can it be used at 7.4(8.4) volts? Will it get too hot? How about a 10w, 5 v passthrough? Can the LV rev be used with a 5v passthrough and what is its resistance?

Actually my carts last a long time. I tend to run several grams through them. I did have some old ones sitting around. The 4ohm in the video had leaked, had stoped hitting (but still worked), and had about .3 left in it. I only recovered 0.13. I havent got parchment yet. I like that idea about...

OF, here is what I was talking about. The new carts have a design that I am not sure I like. I think as a measure to stop leaking they have extended the center pin by about 2 or 3 mm so that leaking oil will not drip out but collect in the bottom until it reaches the hole and then leaks out...

I am sure my explaination is not that great. Look at the picture of the 4ohm cart. The spacing in the picture is about right. There is a lot more space between the vaping element and the lower thread piece. The center pin sticks up alot farther so oil that is not vaped can drip down and pool.

It is not a storage area. The top and bottom piece don't come together any more. The center pin is alot longer and ther is no second seal down there. The is a lot of space for overflow. I am saying a lot could leak down in there and not come out of the bottom now.

Yes, it was the 4-ohm cart. You can see in the second picture that it is much shorter inside and there is a lot more space at the bottom. The lower pin was also redesigned. It also looks like you could store about a quarter gram in that lower area before any leaking out the bottom. I have only...

This happen to anyone else? When I refilled it with the fill tool I must have pushed it all the way in. I did not notice until after I refilled it. It is at least twice as deep as before. It still works great. Guess I can use any drip tip on this one. I also noticed the new 4-ohm cart are...

What you are describing sounds like a 4081 thread, same pitch but larger diameter than omi. The omicron uses an M601. Here is a link to where to get one, be sure to select 510tom601 http://www.electronic-cigz.com/510tom6ad.html

aah, you talked me into it. Now I have to go out and buy some parchment paper.:) I think any file should work. If you don't have one and are going to buy or borrow one get a fairly fine metal file (made for metal that is).

    Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Carts need about 0.2 in them to work. When the cart stop hitting, put in another 1/2. It should come back to life. When the cart eventually dies, take it apart and reclaim.

No, I tend to use what ever I have around the house. The video was meant to get ideas rolling. Thanks for the input. That is one reason I like FC, bouncing ideas around. Also, on the drip tips, as thc said, the difference is howmuch is past the o-ring. Look back at my picture and you will see...

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

I have gone up the center pin. I always mess up the seal with the smaller tip. Also I don't have a convenient tool, the other end of the chop stick does not fit. I just found it easer to rip the end off. Which ever method people use doen't matter, the important part is pushing up the bottom seal...

I take a 4 ohm cart apart for oil recovery. Edit: As OF points out below, It is better to take off the lower seal before heating to recover the oil.

Sorry, I was replying to two posts and I was too lazy to go grab the quote code. Try to file at least one. I really like the drip tips much better than those old rubber ones. I wined about them on the first day the omi came out. I held the tip against a piece of wood as I slowly and carefully...

    Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Joke too easy, so won't. It does not really fit. I just grabbed one that was close and forced it on. After a few times it goes on a little. I do not really know what size it is. You don't really need it. Just grab the threads with some pliers or something. Also, the carts do not usually come...

    Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

How I take apart a cart and recover almost all of the oil inside. Edit: eh, I messed up part 2. I just use a lighter and gently melt it onto a piece of glass. I have also used that little butane torch with the hot air adapter. I am fine with the lighter. The product still looks and taste good.

I think it will depend on what you put in. A fairly thin oil like PG will still rip I bet. Especially on fresh batteries.
