    Herb Grinders

I've never seen a space case with the letters painted in. Afaik, they only engrave the name and made in USA tag.

    HOW MUCH KIEF

How much really depends on your bud and the process. Dry ice can lead to more plant material getting in than you would like.

No shit Teflon is plastic, don't push the stupidity of others on me because they don't know that there's thousands of different plastics and blends. I'd also like to point out that you hope it's Teflon they use and not some other product. Who knows if some grinder company wants to make a quick...

The titanium holds up just fine even with mild scraping. Just don't use a sharp corner. Eh? The sealing product is plastic. Aluminium is very limited in the electro anodizing. They basically acid etch then fill the pores with dye and coat it with plastic to seal it.

That sucks that the coating is flaking off. I'm still using my Ti space case I bought years ago. The only time any of the titanium coating has worn is because I scratched it with a metal tool (never again). Ti coating isn't like normal aluminium anodizing which actually involves putting plastic...

What to replace the Herbie with?

The Herbalizer does really well when paired with the Volcano solid valve. I couldn't stand the terrible stock bags from Herbalizer. If you love bags, the SV system will be an upgrade. I don't think you're goin to gain much by switching to another vape as the Herbalizer is pretty much top of the...

Strain- and species-dependent effects of cannabis — Placebo or Real?

No difference between sativa and indica? The guy is talking out his ass. Take some green crack in the morning and you'll be more awake than if you had coffee. Take some bubba kush in the evening and you'll be locked to the couch struggling to get up. The difference in effects is drastic and...

    Vaping Caviar-Gold / Moon-Rocks effectively.

I've found that lower temps and stair casing are best for high potency weed or kief laced weed. This keeps the flavour okay while you extract since it takes longer to extract everything out of it. It becomes a case of "the bowl that keeps on giving" where there so much vapour you get tired of it.

    The claisen thread

My Mighty and Herbie have pretty much the same draw resistance so they both are cooked at about the same time. I love my Pyrex claisen for those special times (or painful times) when I want to get wrecked.

How fine are you grinding? That could also effect the airflow. Try turning the lights off in the room and use a flash light to see any leaks.

@stressed Clean your screens. The top screen gets plugged and needs an alcohol bath + flame cleaning. I've torched my top screen clean for years now and have yet to replace it since getting my Herbalizer.

    The Herbalizer

I'm glad to see that newer vapes still haven't completely replaced the Herbalizer. It's one hell of a vape. I've had mine for years now and it hasn't skipped a beat.

    The Herbalizer

My experience with concentrates has always been messy with the Herbalizer. The only way I was ever able to use them was to melt a half drop into a bed of ground herbs. This way I could dump the lot out without gunking my screens and chamber. The pad is useless for concentrates, it plugs too fast...

Vapour will get harsher as you get into the higher temps (400+). This is not a result of vapour temperature but the compounds released at these temps. Drawing slower and taking smaller hits will smooth things out but there's no getting around the throat tickle that comes from the higher temp...

Ouch! Bags are like the bongs of the vapour world and I love them for it.

    The Herbalizer

@stressed I think that a bubbler/water pipe would help a lot for smoothness, it certainly will help with higher temps and vapourizing over all. Bags are great but they can be very dry. Don't expect water to 100% reduce discomfort but it should greatly ease the harshness.

It's not your old lungs, they're probably more than okay. The problem is that the compounds released at those higher temps cause throat irritation. I can vape all day at 390 but as soon as I try 430 I start coughing. Some Sativas require high heat in order to get their full effect. Some release...
