Do these batteries have solderable ends? Designed to take a solder joint? I realize the mod is compression connections, but in general just wondering if they can be soldered or if they ned a spot weld

Good stuff, Dude that is Brian. I'll pass on the epoxy. I wonder if Panasonic makes a heavier batt with the connections already? I'm just nerding this also, but given the nerd influence, I'd like to go with the highest mah I can.

Also on a per-hit basis, combustion delivers all the cannabinoids at once, including all the higher temp body buzz, couch lock cannabinoids. Of course you exhale much of it. After vaping, the ABV still has quite a bit of that couchlock cannabinoid left in it. I make glycerin tincture from the...

I appreciate the clarification! Having said that, I would take issue with the triviality of it, as I've returned two units with tears and the vaping capacity went down very noticeably with batteries. At the end, I'd estimate the tears were maybe 1/4 of the way down one rod. !/4 the length, that...

The metal fabric tearing is a real weakness with this unit. I've gone through a few, but of course MF is very good about replacements. If the fabric gets torn, there's that much less electrical resistance = less heat

I do too! Was there a section of this monster thread where someone made a rack or such to accommodate this? Very interesting! Love the collaboration.

I agree, something is wrong. The PA will ignite material, so no lack of horsepower.

All batteries will poop eventually. Even identical batteries will behave differently. One Powerex might last a year, and another starts loosing charge capacity after three months. Battery technology is surprisingly primitive still.

Regarding battery changing, I'd think cutting the wires at the battery end, while leaving the PCB intact would be a good goal. That's do-able, right? Or is the wire too short? Then the question is how best to mechanically attach the wire to the battery. If you didn't want to rely on the...
