A 13.5 volt ac adapter will help with any heat issues, but if you are looking for lightly toasted bud then the regular adapter should do just fine. You could also use a coozie if you run into it running a bit too cool.

Took about 8 days for it to get to Washington state for me. Definitely relatively quick delivery.
