We need to see pictures as we don't know if that is the case. Solos are commonly not aligned perfectly inside. Also a vid helps...we had on person here not have the stem in but if we didn't see a vid we couldn't diagnose. Good luck.

I vape a lot and lose about a light a day. As you can see by the other post on this page the person is going two weeks and is on 6. My solo has been plugged in all day and many sessions have been done and many will still be done. So yes to an extent it does use your battery.
