Sorry I should have been more specific, I meant the top "bulb" part gets hot from the heater being on so much, the ceramic near the bottom of the oven actually burns you!

So now that I've gotten used to the FV, I'm able to hold it on for like 10-15s and sometimes I can take a few of those massive hits back to back. Unfortunately, it does get quite hot... I can't see a mini FV working at the same power level :( it would just get too hot...

Pax can be harsh if you're hitting it fast, try slowing it down or holding a hit for a few sec's in your mouth to let it cool

I'll admit I don't use tobacco, but are you packing it down so that it compresses pretty much solid? Or does tobacco stay loose? I think you'll find much better vapor if you can get the stuff as compressed as you can in the oven, then maybe try starting on high if you need more?

Don't be discouraged if you burn a bowl or two, just remember to inhale faster next time or not let it get too dense. When you get the hang of it, the FV can really do some great sesh's all the while conserving your bud!

I doubt it would stay 3rd for long ;) Did you see sonics420's video: It looks denser than the Pax! And normal lighting too, the cera video's have always been into light:

Yeah you're right... the only safe way to test the Cera is remotely, with explosives!

Update: It does work, surprisingly well! But ime it's about the same as drawing normally and quite a bit more awkward

Awesome man, if you hit it slow like just savoring a joint puff can you hit it without causing the light to start blinking? Or is the hit not as good as a single massive rip every few sec's

If you slip a metal screen above the bowl, I bet it would work just like hitting it with the stem closed!

I'm so tempted by the oil one, but it's just not *something* enough for me. It's hard to explain but it seems a bit big and white and the glue-gun looking mouthpiece.. I think it might take someone wrapping it in cf if I ever pull the trigger

Man has this thread been active! I love the detailed shots of the glass bits, this thing looks elegantly simple to use & clean: I think the only question I have left is what is at the bottom of the glass/ceramic bowl? I'm guessing a screen or tiny holes to let air from the metal grill flow...

Designed in California, assembled in China, just like Apple I think

I'm still skeptical on things like uncleaned carts and bowls actually causing a problem. Resin and oil don't really smell like fresh bud, and the amount in the mail is tiny compared to whatever else you're sending. Customs is looking for saran-wrapped "bundles", not dirty vaporizers... I could...

It's certainly possible they changed the diameter or something about the bowl on the Inh slightly

Hmm I guess the other possiblity is that it's really the glass that is a bit expensive by itself. Maybe it's the glass not the unit that gets the $100 discount... thanks for that
