Yes it is good for all of those things. Tbh, I share the vapman less than other vapes...I'm getting a little better since I have been using it as my daily driver, but still...the small size and build quality almost unconsciously promotes pampering of the unit. The thing that might annoy you...

No butane taste whatsoever. The main difference is the vapman is a two handed vape and the air is a one handed vape. There is a slight learning curve. But it is very easy to figure out. There is no temp control like the air of course, but you will find that your flame application technique...

I was experiencing the same thing and fixed it this morning. My problem was that one of the legs on the pan wasn't screwed down as tight it should have been. I thought it was my midsection for a while until I noticed the play in the pan when rocking it.
