I have different opinion about this, because as I've observed, large thick herb chambers tend to have low vapor-air ratio and not being that efficient. There is more air in the herb chamber than herbs itself and that enables them to move freely in there when you draw. And if they can more...
I've said there that there is progress. In that part of the text I was practicaly saying the same. There will never be the universaly best vape. Because there can always be a better one or someone different will not like it for some reason.
Now there are much better vapes and more of them than...
I solve this by plugging the vape and turning in on BEFORE i prepare herbs, grind them and stuff. Then it's immediately ready when I'm ready. No waiting. It's about organization of your time.
That's another point why logs ARE selling. They are slow, because they draw only few watts. Much less...
In extreme weather conditions I prefer to wait and vape in some frienlier place. Not saying it's impossible, just not very confortable to vape in cold. I want to enjoy a session.
-Can be hard to draw correctly while you're cold.
-You need to draw a bit slower as herbs cool down more with cooler...
I am thin, I have many oversensitive senses (taste, sight, skin and body feelings), so i can feel my stomach overwhelmingly full after I eat only a little, also complex tastes are fucking with my brain and only while high I can appreciate them as it makes my brain to join these tastes into that...
Someone likes whips more and SSV is much easier with whip. And because of angled connection and better bowl design you can draw faster without making herbs fly to some corner where it's cold.
I've found great YT vid, whre a guy demonstrates a myrtlezap and compares to launch box pretty well:

I don't have any log vape, and never hit one. So I can't compare individual logs. But hey, they have really great reputation here and I understand why...
And I've received a confirmation, that they accepted the warranty claim and are going to send replacement :) Oh I'm so excited for a new hot box too. But it can take a month, so the old one still gets some love. Hope it will endure a one more month. I think with this hot-fix I've done it could.
Charging is far more risky to damage batteries than discharge (talking about NiMH). Even if the discharge is 15 Amps. This can heat the battery, so you can draw 15 Amps from the battery until it gets hot. Then it's risky and better let it cool down. Also don't overdischarge batteries (this is...
For a non glass vape it taste great. There's nothing that gets heater other than the heater itself and herbs. And when it's resinous... ...well even glass vapes smell when resinous.
SSV is also great, but imo doesn't meet his requirements as well as logs. It is also convection, 2 parts, load easily unconnectable from the vape as with logs. Main differences 'log x SSV' are that SSV will have a lot more watts, it heats up faster, hit harder, not as efficient, loads are much...
I think you want a log vape. It meets/exceeds all your criteria:
Price: 200 plus minus. More like minus.
Social setting: Alone or two people.
Efficiency: They're famous for their efficiency. Also i think they can do a bit better hits than LB much more easily.
Descreetness: They look small and...
exmilker: I have done some extractions from the elbow already. This is what I do:
1) Take out the dome screen (and the pvc tube optional)
2) Fill the elbow with a bit of iso (approx cm^3 of it) and let it dissolve. Because of it's hape, you can keep enough ammount of iso it it and even shake it...
If the q-tip is no wet from the iso, but only moist, no need for turning it upside down. But at the rails, be soft. I don't slide the cotton over the rails, that could damage them. I ROLL it over thek bach and forward and the clogging on them slowly disappear. Didn't try only moisturing them...
