Nice, sounds like a promising start. It does seem to me (a novice) that this is battling for that coveted MLFB crowd. The design is what got me staring at it. I like visible clouds that I can feel so I dont know if its for me (own a Pax), nonetheless its a wavy design.

I cant seem to fix the temp light problem but Ploom says the new cleaning kit will solve the issue. (lubricant) Other then that I'm way satisfied, based on the video I just posted I would say in love with Pax :love:. I've burned it down less then 5 times in the past 4 months. Pretty good...

When my friend smelled the odor it was during use. I think you might be right with the different bud strains and when they burn the odor they produce, along with the abv caked inside burning yet again.

Its odd you say that because I had someone tell me it reeks really bad with that doo-doo looking face. I smelled something when I first started using it also, but nothing in recent memory. Anyone else smell anything odd? All I can smell is finely ground high grade these days. :)

Great choice on the color. :) I would clean it every 3 days if I wasnt so tired after working. I clean it every weekend, once a week. If you are truly lazy, or dont have ANY time to yourself, then blow into your mouthpiece before each use from the metal side and scrape the edges of your oven...

Imagine a TSA worker goes 'Hey, its a Pax without the mouthpiece. Where is the mouthpiece sir?'

Thats probably just the pic, but those are some pretty shiny screens compared to my original screen which is looking a bit faded. The design is still the same, the little diamond shape thing. I love the packaging baggy, so pretty. :luv:

I will take a wild guess and say your Pax hasnt been cleaned in a while. The vapor is released from the edges of the screen, so if you havent cleaned your Pax in over a week, then clean it. If it is not a cleaning issue, I would contact Ploom because even yellow gets me clouds. (Way too much...

From what I learned, I believe those are the ranges of temps that release different compounds. Those are not the exact temps. The Pax runs Low 370F, Medium 390F, & High 410F. So you can imagine you'd lose certain compounds percentage wise at High, but get more thick intense vapor with diminshed...
