welcome to FC blazenot , No to the use of end caps on the PA . Temps varies to your own personal preference . But I would suggest staying away from the high temps to begin with . They can combust your load . ime I like the mid ranges on my PA . enjoy .

Maybe it's because of the lighting in your pic . But your stain looks ' greyish ' , not like brownish resin stains . imo + 1 on the dental pick , I've lightly etch/scratched the baked on resin stains at the end of my Solo stems , to come out looking like new again . But only on the stock stems...
